KSC 93R Robocop Conversion?

Anyone ever thought about taking a KSC 93R cap model gun and putting the parts from a KSC Airsoft RoboCop gun onto it to produce a cap firing blowback RoboCop Auto 9 Pistol? I have the two guns here and it looks like the parts would match up to it... but I thought I would check to see if anyone else has pondered this conversion... or better yet actually done it?!

I think some minor grinding and possible gluing may be required, but let me know what you guys think.

That is an excellent idea Phil!

I too, have wondered if it would be a fairly easy conversion to do as KSC makes both the airsoft/modelgun versions of the M93R and I would think that the scale of the parts should be the same or close.

I don't recall ever seeing the conversion being done. However, I can't imagine that it hasn't been done before.

Yeah... but getting any details out of them would be next to impossible.

Are they going to be able to continue doing biz after the new UK law goes into effect? Seems they would be a tad hamstrung with the new laws.

Yes, the VCR Act will mean problems for the UK dealers as a lot of their customers in-country will no longer be able to buy modelguns. But they should still be able to sell abroad or to special people, such like reenactors or to museums and theaters. We will have to see.

HAH! I have seen that version in Japan at some of the Anime Expos and Shows we attend every once in awhile. Pretty crazy set-up!

The spare mag holder sorta makes sense, although I don't know how you'd holster the thing like that.

The grip sucks.

Needless to say, I took the kit off, but if someone really wants to rent a wacky anime gun, I'll put it back on.
