Hi all, thank you for allowing me to join the forum.
I thought that I would start with an introduction
I'm Wes from the UK and I mostly collect deacts and CO2 replica air guns, although I have had a few model guns over the years including a Hudson M1A1 and MGC 1921 Thompson.
Recently I managed to buy one of my all time favourites and one that I have pined after for years, the Shoei FG42.
I apologise for the rubbish photographs, but here she is.

Welcome Wes, I'm also in the UK and have a decent collection of mainly ww2 guns. I saved up and ordered an FG42/mk1 from Tomio at Shoei direct a couple of years ago when he was doing a production run. It is indeed a fantastic piece of kit.

Hello and welcome here! Your FG 42 Type 1 is very nice. Are you using it for some kind of reenactment, or just inside your home as a collector's piece? Most modelguns are just too nice to keep them stored away, but wecannot run around with them in our yards for sure. Don't worry about the pictures, they are always welcome. I learnt that lighting is the key and that daylight will bring the best and most balanced result.
