Hello!
I recently after a long wait gotten my hands on an mgc m76 from a very kind friend.
It came with no cartridges however but I knew I had a couple of old 9mm ones at home.
These however do not seem to fit/work.
And here is where you might be able to help me!
Here is the modelgun and the cartridge. Dont really know much the cartridge about it except thats its one of those old open toped ones and on it back it reads LUGER ( Wouldnt be suprised if it said Ruger though cant really tell
) and I can read a big 3 on the fake primer. I will come back to the cartride shortly. Now.

Here is the ejection port open showing the ¨chamber¨and we can see the striking pin .

Here is the same picture but this time with the cartridge. It fits but it wont go all the way in. Here comes the funny part.
" />
Even if we try to fire the modelgun it wont move any further in.
" />
However, IF we remove the barrel. The firing pin gets some space so it can move,

And here is the funny part about these cartridges that they fit and eject perfectly. As long as the barrel is off so the firing pin can move
However at the same time that means that the striking pin wont ignite the caps inside the cartridges because its gets to loose so it doesnt have force enough to ignit the caps.
I am pretty damn sure that the problem here is that I am using the wrong cartridges and if that is the case can someone please tell me which ones to get? And of couse which ones that work the best?
Or otherwise if these cartridges actually do work. What can I do to make the modelgun work properly?
Thanks!
