Ok this is stupid, but an LS model kit Automag is on ebay with 4 bids so far. it started at about £199 which is stupid money but now its £232, i cannot believe that an LS kit is ever worth this much. if it was around £50 £60 i might consider it but at this price!

I always wanted to get one of those LS Models and see about making a metal cast of the entire sprue. I had a few LS models as a nipper, but not the Automag. It will be interesting to see the final price though!

Are these kits still expensive in Japan? Or is it just in the west, that they are ridiculously priced? Genuine question?

LS kits are no longer made and rare especially the automag, however when they do come up in Japan they don't get anywhere near the price this went for. I think whoever bought it will be very dissapointed when they get it. They are good models for around £50 or £60 but no more at least to me.
