I am not at all sure just what procedure that MGC followed in the serial number area. Some of the Thompson's had serial numbers some didn't...

On the subject of MGC Thompson's check this MGC Bond Shop custom out: http://page16.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/u14737216

These are rare as they featured the proper Colt markings and patent dates!

Thanks Mark,

I did see some earlier posts which mention the bond shop version which do look nice with all the markings (not sure about a chrome one though) and I might get around to putting the correct markings on my Hudson M1A1 one day.

Most of the pictures of earlier ones i have seen do not have serial numbers and the 06 2006 Thompsons normally have the same one.

But i may be wrong ! MGC Thompson Serial Numbers #2 Icon_lol
