Yes, despite its age, the MP5 is still a top-notch and very fascinating weapon. I could handle one in the past, but sadly not shoot it.

Good point, i was actually speaking to a friend the other day that it is quite interesting that the Mp5 is considered as many as "hi-tech", even though it is an old design dating from 1964-ish.

I haven't tried out the UMP, but i've heard good things about it, it'll be interesting if the UMP or any other SMG or PDW type SMG will knock it off the throne Putting it to good use: attn figaro - Page 2 Icon_smile

And then the quest will be to shoot that one too.. Putting it to good use: attn figaro - Page 2 Icon_wink

I also think that one of th other plus points for the MP5 is just how versatile it is right from the box. There are so many variations or add ons to it that it really is well suited for pretty much anything. I love the HK series of weapons, but the plastic body stuff just doesnt seem to be quite the same for me. I dont know about some of the cheaper MP5 copies, but the HK one was always so damn reliable, has anyone ever seen one misfeed? I do not have the same confidence with the newer ones for some reason, maybe it is just because they are not quite as tried and tested. Then there is the horny factor. There is just something about the MP5 that not only functions well, but just looks fine, kind of like the firearm equivalent to Aston Martin.

You're obviously fans, I can only apologise that the camera came out after we'd finished firing the serials with our 5Ks and pistols.
