| Hello, I just bought a Marushin PPK/S from a private seller, seen here: Now when I first got it, It worked pretty well. The bullets would fly out with no problem and then the caps would fire and everything seemed to be working fine. Then one night, The bullets started getting struck in the chamber . So I released the magazine and this little piece fell out. Now when I squeeze the trigger, the hammer doesn't even react. I'm new to Model Guns and I have no idea what the problem could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. | |

| Hello Digi' please accept my warm welcome to our forum. I don't own a Marushin PPK model myself so can't give you a definative answer, but I'm certain other members here will. I can tell you, however, that the usual cause of cartridges sticking in the chamber is dirt build up. Fired caps cause a great deal of dirt residue to build up around the Detonator Pin, Chamber sides and bottom, and the barrel itself. This residue builds up quickly, and can be a thick mass of dirt. It'll restrict the diameter of the chamber and increase Pin diameter enough to make cartridges jam in there. Cleaning both modelgun and the cartridges after every firing session is essential to keep them in good working order and prolongs the life of cartridges especially. Some strip-down help can be found here: Cartridge cleaning help: You may have the original instruction manual already but if not, here's a scanned copy: This may help you identify the part that fell out of your model. Chances are that PPK owners will recognise it too and give you more help _________________ Cerwyn

| Hello, I will, in some days, receive a marushin ppk/s model gun kit so I will see all the parts of this model gun. With the instruction manual, it wil be very easy to find the part. So wait some times and you will know. see you | |

| Thank you for the welcome and the suggestions, Cerwyn. I hope to become more experienced with each model gun I get. As a film maker and a gun enthusiast, I think this is the best damn hobby and I'm looking forward to getting to know my way around these models Thanks Momocampo. | It's my pleasure Digi' I got into the Modelgun hobby myself about seven years ago. I knew nothing about them then.I've learned a lot since then, through experience but most of all thanks to help received from keen and enthusiastic members here on this forum. I'm still learning something new every day. It is a very enjoyable hobby, despite the occasional problem and frustration _________________ Cerwyn

| well its not the best photo in the world but is it part of this rear link ? take a look at the right side of the pistol , just above the grip ...pull the trigger and see if you can see any of this part moving ( you should also see the steel bar connected to the trigger moving ) my money would be on that but a better image would make certain DOC p.s fixing models is part of their attraction ........ not | |
