| In the video he has a real Borchadt that he is exchanging plastic model gun parts on, correct? - I don't get it.
Is the exercise to show the quality of the plastic machining?

| I would guess so - it does seem that the model was made based on a real Borchardt. Pieces do seem interchangeable, and I agree that this demonstrates precision and quality. Let's hope the model is solid and has longevity too :-) | |

| It did seem to me that CAW's videos demonstrate how accurate their replica parts are. If they're interchangeable with a real pistol the finished model should be a perfect replica. Both videos are cleverly done, impress everyone with the accuracy of their parts before realeasing the finished product  It's a very complex design, if CAW release a cap-firer then the question of durability will surely be at the back of potential buyers' minds. It'll be a stunning modelgun though, no doubts about that.

I hope CAW/HWS find a way to offer similar prices in Europe/USA as they do in Japan.
