Question about Kokusai teardown Empty
PostSubject: Question about Kokusai teardown   Question about Kokusai teardown Icon_minitimeThu Jan 13, 2022 12:26 am

Hello! New member here. I recently purchased a Kokusai Colt Trooper Mk. III with a 6" barrel. I am going to be using this as a part of a display and want to convert it to a 4" barrel. Has anyone removed the barrel off of a Kokusai revolver before that didn't involve a gunsmith? Thanks!

Hello Chaks,

I'm not certain but I don't think the barrel is removable. To stop any possibility of someone attempting to convert these model guns to live firing, frames and barrels were die cast as one piece. The metal models have blocked barrels too which have a hardened steel insert cast in to stop any attempt to drill through.
