| Post by Claymore interesting site, never been one for de-acts as i like my guns to fire, hence the modelguns plastic or not. Also the price for a deac is normally very high (although i know some modelguns are actually more expensive, but they do fire)
All that said i have been tempted at times to get an FN SLR as you cant get a modelgun of that and i have only seen one airsoft and that was expensive.

| Post by allenb I've used them to get some of my deacts.
This is probably the best quality deac site around, they always have good pictures of their stock.
As for the MP5K, its a new spec example so its either welded solid or the bolt head has been cut on two, the front part being welded to the frame. At least the MP5A3 they have is old spec... but thats £1700.

| Post by Illuminatti Yes it is a pity but i have a real thing about the MP5K, id like to buy a decent replica, may even buy one of the airsoft AEG versions as they are very realistic, i just dont like the price tag.
Also i thought maybe the magazines page would suit some modelguns, and some of the grips and furnishing.

| Post by Mark It's too bad that i can't get many of the deactivated firearms that they sell in the UK as many of the deactivated firearms are still considered live here in the U.S. and they would be required to have special paperwork just to import them into the U.S. And, the machineguns are still considered to be live firing guns despite be deactivated... _________________ Wanted to buy: MGC Sten MK3....trades?(still)

| Post by Mark Well, the post 1995 deacts are all welded up and they feature very few moving parts..They can pass all of the laws that they wish but people will still continue to do what they want to do..
You are correct about the parts situation in the U.S. _________________ Wanted to buy: MGC Sten MK3....trades?(still)

| Post by allenb Sorry mark I deleted my last post. Thought it best to delete it as I wouldn't want the info about US - UK loopholes causing any problems for the forum. Your right about the post 1995 deacts - thats why all mine are 'old spec' pre 1995 ones - much nicer!! | |

| Post by Mark Buying parts from the U.S. like barrels is illegal in many European countries as the barrels are usually the deactivated part...So in actuality, the world isn't as easy as it looks... _________________ Wanted to buy: MGC Sten MK3....trades?(still)
