The MGC Mac 11 is a superb modelgun i recommend you buy one. I have 2, 1x full set and 1x just the gun if its your first mac 11 you have to buy the full set as the silencer really adds something to the appearence although it does not silence at all.

The rate of fire is amazing 32 rounds in about 1 1/2 secs, if you have watched any vids of it firing you can see how fast it is 1 pull of the trigger and the mag is gone.

Like all modelguns it can have problems, my model was brand new but gave me lot of trouble at the start.
first it would not fire meaning it did not detonate the rounds i did get a couple to fire and the feed ramp chamber broke. So the gun went back got fixed and still would not fire more than a round at a time. Then it did fire a string and the ramp broke again and the bolt, nightmare time.

So the gun went back this time i had the barrel pin changed so the gun would fire the old open type cartridge rather than the new piston type and success. since then the gun has not failed me and is great to fire.

I also bought another one to fire the mulberry field real look rounds and that works great, although i have converted that back to fire the new type piston round as you can only get about 18 rounds of the mulberry rounds in the mag, which is not enough. This gun also works great and no breaks.

The rounds can be a pain as they are small 380 size and take a 5mm cap meaning the seals on the piston are small and tend to get blown off and break.

However i have not tried them with the silicone lube and it is possible that the lube will cure that problem.

I thought i had better tell you about the problems i had but dont let that put you off the model, my 2 never fail anymore and it is a hell of model to fire as the ROF is so high it makes a great sound.

Buy one rizzo you will like it.

I too, have one of the MGC Ingrams (ABS) it was an early,non-select fire "open cartridge" with the "Cobray" markings (stylised snake on the side) at first i had nothing but problems with my example as it would not fire more than 2-4 rounds with out jaming so, i decided that it was the older open cartridge fault so, i changed the detonator over to the newer CPHW cartridges.

Later,i discovered that i was trying to use the wrong length of the open cartridges! The Ingram is supposed to take the 380 super 9x22 cartridges and i was trying to use the 9x24 length cartridges for my S&W M59's in it!

No wonder why it kept jaming! I discovered this only after i had destroyed the original detonator in an attempt to convert it into a late CP detonator and, i ended up receiving a brand-new box of the correct, 9x22 380 super cartridges open cartridges a few weeks afterwards

But, other than the minor problem i had at first, i think that the MGC Ingram is worth having and i would like to get a HW version of it sometime.

I too have one and yes buy one. I just love this gun anyway, pity can not get it in full metal like my Scorpion v61.

I have only fired a mag full through it which had a couple of jams.

Used the supplied open carts but plenty of lube and its ok. Thinking of getting the real look .380 and some more mags.

I just handle mine clean then back in the box.

This would really be cooool in full metal like my Maruzen full metal airsoft.

hope this helps, a bit late but just joined forum.

Unlike other forums, i don't mind resurected threads Cool Anyway, if you really want a all zinc MAC 11 i think that the Horrible Spanish made "Denix" all zinc MAC 11 replicas are stiil available. These where un-licensed copies of the MGC MAC 11's but, they are intended as display only and they can't fire...
