I recently found this PPK and was hoping to be able to properly identify it and hopefully understand what i need to make this work as it should...

Pics:

Markings on right side of slide, close to muzzle.

Markings on left side of slide, somewhat faint, but looks pretty good.

Top of slide is nicely crosschecked.
MGC (?) PPK, identification help and parts needed 37645304

The safety doesn't appear to do anything besides locking the slide to the frame.
(when safety is engaged slide cannot be racked)

Trigger and magazine catch, note that trigger moves straight back, it doesn't pivot as it would on a real PPK.

Bottom of magazine is marked "Japan".
MGC (?) PPK, identification help and parts needed 21579452

Feedlip of magazine, doesn't appear to be broken, and as chamber area is blocked i assume that this model hasn't been able to have it's magazine filled with rounds and then chambered?

Blocked muzzle.

Underside of slide, safety is visible as is recoil spring.
MGC (?) PPK, identification help and parts needed 89909015

Right side of slide, it seems that the extractor is missing, there's alos a threaded(?) hole in bottom of slide that might mean that there's has been an extractor or a part that looks like one and fill another function.

Slide removed, hammer and part of mechanism visible.

Disassembled overview.
MGC (?) PPK, identification help and parts needed 92316570

Mechanism and i think it is to mechanically move the slide backwards when pulling the trigger, quick/quack action?
MGC (?) PPK, identification help and parts needed 41837954

Real PPK and replica, note that real PPK has broken safety lever.

Other side.

Modelgun on top of real PPK, note that modelgun is smaller in all dimensions.

If anyone has any information it'd be greatly appreciated. Pic of a complete pistol would be even nicer of course Smile

Even though it is smaller then it's real steel counterpart i'm very happy with this modelgun.

It looks very much like MGC PPK with "Tanio action" (or "quack action") that is discussed here:
https://mp40modelguns.forumotion.net/modelgun-general-discussion-f1/full-metal-walther-ppk-s-t1448.htm

Same blocked chamber and muzzle, mechanism. Minor variations - MGC produced several releases of this model.

Your PPK looks quite complete to me.

Mine has a bit different mechanism:
- under left grip panel there is a leaf spring which holds mag release.
- leaf spring is held by the same pin that hammer is on. Hammer pin has two screws from side: left holds leaf spring, right holds a small metal bracket.
- small metal bracket near back of grip stops the main action lever when it goes back.
- main lever and trigger bar are assembled differently: trigger bar goes under main lever.
- spring that pushes main lever is differently positioned.

You can also see a "detonator" pin sticking out from chamber. It only works for positioning dummy cartridges, no cap-firing or blowback action there.

There are at least three variants from MGC, mine is (3) below:
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~yon-yon/cgi/mgc/ppk-1/index.html
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~yon-yon/cgi/mgc/ppk-2/index.html
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~yon-yon/cgi/mgc/ppk_3/index.html

And here is a list of many variants also from other manufacturers:
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~yon-yon/cgi/test3.cgi?Input2=PP

Hope that helps :-)

Ok, thank you.

My frame seems to be complete then, but how about the slide? As my "extractor" is missing it seems there are some parts that should go there Smile When i push the trigger nothing happens...

Maybe the part marked as "Ex" here:
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~yon-yon/cgi/mgc/ppk-2/ppk2_dis.jpg

And here:

Extractor ("Ex") is definitely missing. I thought it is not necessary for operation, but...
My model had extractor moulded as one piece with slide.
There is a kind of a ramp inside the slide, behind extractor, also integral with slide.
Looking at the diagrams, extractor not only is "extractor", but also has this ramp.
It is pretty visible - triangle pointing downwards.

Now you just need to find (or make) an extractor ;-)
