| Post by Reemo Hi Guys
I just wanted to post a quick blurb about the MARUI 1911A1 replica Gas Blowback gun that was just released.
It has the NICEST trademarks and proof stamps (Very accurate)......and its just plain awesome.
It is actually FAR louder than my PFC guns (No joke).....and has recoil that will leave you giggling. (Run on propane/green gas)
Although its ABS plastic there will be TONS of metal kits coming this month.
The best part? Its only 105.00!!
A must own.....powerful, max range over 150 feet, laser beam accurate to over 100 feet, damn brilliant replica gun!
If you dont have any airsoft pistols, this would be the one to own. _________________ "This is your life......and its ending one minute at a time."

| Post by Reemo Hi Claymore! Wow! DOUBLE That is rough...... Im glad that you are still getting one........run it on Propane, not 134. Its damn powerful and surprisingly LOUD. PGC already has a metal frame showing on their site today.....EVERYBODY will have a metal slide and body out soon for this gun, MARUI is selling a TON of them! Most people are saying its MARUI's best GBB pistol ever! _________________ "This is your life......and its ending one minute at a time." | |

| Hiya Reemo
If the retail for this 1911 is only $105 could YOU legally buy one and ship it to one of us in the UK? Even with shipping on top you could save us a small fortune (and make a buck or two for yourself!) How do the US laws work regarding shipping modelguns out of the Country? I bought a Marushin M712 from a Californian dealer some time ago, there were no problems then. What do you think?

| Post by Spencerman Am I the only one who has picked up on the term laser beam? So I take it that it has a laser inside it, or did you just add one? Either way, now I am interested. _________________ | |

| Post by Claymore Spencerman mate, no sorry Reemo i think you will find is just using laser beam as an expression as to the accuracy of the gun, no laser i am afraid it would not be an authentic 1911 with a laser anyway. Sorry mate | |

| Post by John Hi All,
Besides the Marui & WA, KSC & Marushin also released the M1911 airsoft recently. The Marushin one is even 8mm BB blowback verson. It seems to me that the Marushin is nearly the same price as the Marui. The KSC is the cheapest. The WA one released earlier this year is also much cheaper than its previous versions. So suddenly, the M1911 fever is all around. Just a year ago, we had only WA M1911!
Anyway, to me, enough is enough, no more space at home. Thank you very much.

Buy >only< the MARUI version.....
I made the mistake and rushed into the KSC 1911 (released before the MARUI).....the MARUI 1911 is a FAR better gun than the KSC, NO contest.
The Marushin is just flat JUNK - avoid.
The MARUI is indeed the cheapest and it just rocks on propane/green gas. One of the "must buys" for this summer.
PS I also have the Western Arms version of the 1911A1 that came out almost 2 years ago.....its not even close to the real 1911 (side by side) - its WAY too HIGH, too THICK, and its cobby looking..........also the range sucks and it double shoots now after every trigger pull.....the MARUI blows it away for less than half og what I paid for it. _________________ "This is your life......and its ending one minute at a time."

| After reading Reemo's obvious excitement about this 1911 I took the plunge and bought one, my first Airsoft model gun. As I posted earlier in the thread, Guys'n'Guns of HK are selling them for just over £60 Sterling, + shipping but it still beats UK retail prices by miles. The box (even) is a display piece in itself and the gun is really, really nice! I wanted a Colt M1911 to add to my WW2 collection of weapons. The pfc modelguns are, at the moment anyway, too expensive for me so I thought this would make a nice quality substitute. I am not dissapointed! It looks real, and as a bonus, it fires projectiles! My long suffering girlfriend, now getting tired of cartridge cleaning and loading, enjoyed it so much that both her and my mother (now 76!) were taking turns at shooting cans in the back yard, loving every minute. Heh, Heh, I know what to get them both for Christmas now, a nice gun, tha I can 'borrow' once in a while, if they let me! Thanks for the tip Reemo, and for the introduction to gas blowback bb guns. By the way, you say run it on Propane, not 134a, is that the Green Gas that TM market themselves?
