Buying: My Wish List Empty
PostSubject: Buying: My Wish List   Buying: My Wish List Icon_minitimeWed Jul 01, 2009 6:24 pm

I have only found a few online sites which sell military style blank guns.

www.thehistorybunker.co.uk

Their prices seem way too high. $1,100 for an M14? For that much I can buy the real thing.

And these three all run by the same company but not linked.

www.specialforcesweapons.com

www.vietnamwar-guns.com

www.wwiiguns.com

Are there any others? I have been having a hard time fulfilling my wish list.

MAC-10 .45 (NOT a tiny MAC-11)

Auto Mag .44

HK MP5 or HK94

Glock 18 (with no weird barrel extensions or rails.)

Desert Eagle any caliber, preferably nickel but any color.

HK G36 full sized.

FN P90

HK MP7 or PDW

HK UMP .45.

HK Mark 23 .45.

Walther P99 full size 9mm, not .22.

M3 Grease Gun.

MP44 for under $1000 USD.

MG42 for under $1000 USD.

HK G3 7.62mm

BAR for under $500 USD.

SAW or any belt fed 5.56mm.

If anyone is selling I’m buying.

As I said these must be real metal, I can’t cold blue or buff plastic, and be able to load shells and field strip. I am NOT interested in Airsoft toys.

It seems that you are looking for blank firers, not modelguns.

There is a dedicated forum section for blank firers:

Blank Firers are a different ball-game to the PFC Modelguns.

Some of the prices charged by the companies you've listed are high certainly, but not that far off in some cases.

I'm certain you'll not find an MP44 for under $1000, Airsoft yes, but Modelgun Question not a chance I'm afraid unless you strike really lucky

I also looked for an MG42 replica... closest I found was a solid cast resin movie-prop ... $1200 as I recall and that was over 5 years ago.

Several of your wished listed models aren't available commercially as pfc firers. There are a few custom built one-offs to be seen, but so rare I'd not wish to guess an asking price for them.

If you're after a Blank Firing Desert Eagle however, you may be in luck... please look at:-

https://mp40modelguns.forumotion.net/blank-firers-f14/colt-combat-commander-and-kimar-cz-75-8mm-blanks-t1564.htm

Metal pfc replicas are available, you could try forum members
Francky http://franckys-modelgun.com/,
shazhib (by PM here) or read through the For Sale section.
There's a good retailer here in the UK, http://www.modelguncollector.co.uk/
and also one in France http://www.modelguns-worldwide.com/

I hope that helps some,

Many of the modelguns are more expensive then their real counterparts, i would consider the Hudson M-14 very much close to a custom gun, made in very small batches and thus rare and expensive.

And these three all run by the same company but not linked.

MAC-10 .45 (NOT a tiny MAC-11)
As far as i can recall i've never seen a MAC-10 as a modelgun.

Auto Mag .44
Available in gold color, can be polished and blued.

HK MP5 or HK94
As far as i can recall i've never seen a MP-5/HK-94 as a modelgun, except one-off built guns.

Glock 18 (with no weird barrel extensions or rails.)
Available, but in plastic.

Desert Eagle any caliber, preferably nickel but any color.
Available, but again in plastic.

HK G36 full sized.
As far as i can recall i've never seen a G-36 as a modelgun, except maybe one-off built guns.

FN P90
As far as i can recall i've never seen a P-90 as a modelgun, maybe one-off built guns. Cool gun though Smile

HK MP7 or PDW
As far as i can recall i've never seen a MP-7 as a modelgun.

HK UMP .45.
As far as i can recall i've never seen a UMP as a modelgun.

HK Mark 23 .45.
As far as i can recall i've never seen a Mk 23 as a modelgun.

Walther P99 full size 9mm, not .22.
As far as i can recall i've never seen a P99 as a modelgun.

M3 Grease Gun.
Available in HW and ABS, old one's in metal, veeery expensive.

MP44 for under $1000 USD.
I think these guys: http://www.keystonearsenal.com/page1.php have something in the works regarding the MP-44, i think i saw one on eBay, it was not as detailed as the Shoei but priced accordingly. To find a detailed replica of the MP-44 cheap is just not gonna happen, too much work to make it.
I bought an 1911 from them, very nice, review here: https://mp40modelguns.forumotion.net/modelgun-reviews-f4/keystone-arsenal-replicas-colt-m1911a1-t322.htm

MG42 for under $1000 USD.
I'd say impossible to manufacture a working replica for that price, if there were such a beast i'd buy it!!

HK G3 7.62mm
I'd say impossible to manufacture a working replica for that price, if there were such a beast i'd buy it!!

BAR for under $500 USD.
I'd say impossible to manufacture a working replica for that price, if there were such a beast i'd buy it!!

SAW or any belt fed 5.56mm.
I'd say impossible to manufacture a working replica for that price, if there were such a beast i'd buy it!! Hell, i'd buy two... my favorite...

If anyone is selling I’m buying.

As I said these must be real metal, I can’t cold blue or buff plastic, and be able to load shells and field strip. I am NOT interested in Airsoft toys.
In my opinion most modelguns are quite brittle, they will not stand up to the abuse of real guns, the mechanism isn't true to real guns, they are close, some very, very close but not interchangeable. Most probably part Japanese laws and part ease of manufacture.

Hoping to help Smile
