| Post by Madmike Hello! I can imagine how bad you feel. Where did you buy your Hudson modelgun? Perhaps you can get spare parts from there. But they will be expensive. If you bought your gun abroad I would recommend to contact www.modelguncollector.co.uk. They are willing to help if they can, no matter if you bought the gun from them. They are all enthusiasts and not only interested in selling modelguns. But as I said, spare parts for modelguns are rare in Europe and thus very expensive. | |

| Post by Claymore Hi falay, welcome to the forums. Oh! man that is bad, i have to agree with madmike your best bet is modelguncollector unless you bought from Jay at modelguns.co.uk. Hudson still make the M1A1 and have just released the parkerised model as a new gun again so spares will be available. If you bought from Jay he will be able to get you the spare no problem but unfortunatly he will only help you out if you bought from him. I think modelguncollector would be able to get you the spare, as i say they still make them so spares should not be a problem | |

| Post by Mark You know, that Jay at modelguns.co.uk. really should drop that requirement he has, as his sales might improve if he was to allow cartridge and parts sales otherwise. Besides, if parliament decides to pass the legeslation soon, all of the dealers like Jay etc. will be out of business...So, i would think that he would want all of the business that he could get now. Anyway, falay i am sure that a Hudson M1 upper receiver/barrel can be found somewhere but it will be expensive! Which version of the Hudson M1 do you have the early or the late? | Post by Claymore Yes mark its a pity about Jay not selling rounds etc unless you buy a model from him. Reasoning is i think that he does sell a lot of models and and just to keep his buying clients supplied with rounds and spares takes up his supply especially for the older models. He did used to sell to anyone but i think ran out of stuff to keep his clients supplied. This might have to change when the VCR bill goes through but i think he has a lot of buyers on his books and rounds have to go on back order at times. I am waiting for Hudson 44 desert eagle rounds at the moment. Frustrating as it is i can understand the reason he sells only if you buy off him. | |

| Post by Madmike Hello! What´s the problem? If you bought your gun from Jason at modelguns.co.uk, he should be able and willing to find the spare part for you. If not, I would just recommend you ask modelguncollector.co.uk. They supplied spares to me for my Marushin kit as I needed some, although I did not buy the gun there.
Greetings

| Post by Mark The all zinc construction of Hudson's M1A1 is going to be the worst part as zinc can be a nightmare to repair as it can only be repaired with soldier Perhaps, a gunsmith (do they have anything to do anymore in your country?) can soldier in a piece of steel pipe into the receiver front/barrel stub and repair it that way? _________________ Wanted to buy: MGC Sten MK3....trades?(still) MGC MP40 Marushin MP40 Nakata MP40 TRC MP40 Modelgun manufacturers, past and present:CMC,CAW,Hudson,HWS,LS,MGC(R.I.P. 1960's~2007) Marushin,Marui,Kokusai,Shoei,Tanaka and Western Arms | |

| Post by Mark Hopefully, you can get your Hudson M1A1 repaired and hopefully Hudson will start making more new M1A1's soon as i wanted to buy one yesterday from Dentrinity and they said that they where out of stock.. Geez, when i finally decide to buy one, they are out of stock!! But, since their price is (or was)the best that i have yet found for the M1A1 it figures that they are sold out! _________________ Wanted to buy: MGC Sten MK3....trades?(still) MGC MP40 Marushin MP40 Nakata MP40 TRC MP40 Modelgun manufacturers, past and present:CMC,CAW,Hudson,HWS,LS,MGC(R.I.P. 1960's~2007) Marushin,Marui,Kokusai,Shoei,Tanaka and Western Arms | |
