| http://www.hawsan.com.tw/default.aspThe only non-Japanese company that manufactures cap-firing modelguns. WaShan is based in Taiwan. It was established in 1981, not sure when they got into modelguns. They manufacture all-metal models, although due to change in laws slides (and/or barrels) are plastic. Outside of Taiwan they are not well-known due to export/import problems (full metal). They are available from HongKong airsoft shops. Multiple names are result of different transliteration of original Chinese name: WaShan or Hwa San. These brands belong to company called YT Corporation (Yun Tai Plaything). Logo and name "FS Toys" is also found on their modelguns. WaShan produces S&W M66 revolver and many pistols: Tokarev TT-33, Beretta 1934, Beretta M84, Beretta 92, Walther PPK, Colt 1911, Derringer, Glock 17/27, Sig P220 and Colt .25. | Another Taiwanese company called Hsu Wei also makes Beretta M92FS & Valtro M85 - on a small scale though...can only buy these guns through internet auctions (no shop sell these guns - at least in Taipei) so I'm somehow quite cynical about this...
Another unknown company makes cap-firing T65K1 (Taiwan-made M16 for their own troops) - can find it in Den Trinity's website indicated as "stocked" but no longer available... | |
