| Mauser rounds used in FG42 (just as in 98k) are 7.92x57mm. Shoei originally released some of their FG42 models as blowback. Don't know if factory made or kits only - see picture on Francky's page to see the kit (not available for a long, long time): http://franckys-modelgun.com/shoei%20parts-1.htmlShoei cartridges that you have linked to are for FG42 blowback version. Right now all FG42 are produced as dummy only, and they use different, dummy cartridges. I think they are the same size as real Mauser cartridges: http://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/123714452Tanaka cartridges that you linked to are blowback version made for Mauser 98k. This modelgun was initially manufactured by CMC, then Tanaka took over their moulds when CMC was closed, and now CAW got these. I'm not sure if these cartridges are the same as Shoei blowback version for FG42, they look different. | |

arrr so they can't be made into PFC types. I was asking about the Kar98 ones has i thought i might be able to use more real looking ones in the FG42. | |
