| Well, I guess I must have too much time on my hands.....???? But I thought I'd create a bit of a challenge for anyone who considers they know about guns. Open to ALL Forum members. ' ' It's called "SEEING DOUBLE??" Here are 9 photos taken from my collection. Each one contains at least 1 Modelgun. The other could be a Denix, or a BB gun, or a Blank Firer or a Real gun.
CAN YOU TELL WHICH IS WHICH AND WHAT IT IS? If you think you can tell then post your answers (if you can!) over the next two days. All the correct answers will be placed into a hat and the winner drawn and their name posted on this thread. I've allowed 2 days due to the differing time Zones members have. (A Clue: all the guns have featured somewhere in one of my posts on this forum! So you DON'T need to be an expert already.) ' ' List your answers in alpha-numerical order A to I. Good Luck! ' ' THE PHOTOS (Well Ok, the last pic is seeing triple!) ' ' Hope you enjoy the challenge! Kiwigunner[b][center] | |

| Arrrg Hey Kiwi it's too hard for me... I can only say what is revolver and what is pistol. Are you interested by my answers?? Seriously, I'm not too expert. Maybe I know for the ppk and for the Beretta 92 but not sure. It's a great idea anyway. I'm waiting for the result. | |

| Cerwyn - PM is the way to go! I've had a number of replies so far.... and must admit they're very encouraging. ' ' Ok Oz....PM me your list too and I'll check it ... hadn't thought of a prize other than the "kudos" of getting them all correct! But maybe I can dig out something from my treasure trove if the winner wants to pay postage??? ' ' Claymore - thanks for your post .... yes there's a few tricky items.....comes from my devious mind. ' ' But all the guns are in previous posts so can be cross-checked. (My cunning way of getting my posts read!) You can enter again if you like, now that there's no comparative list. Momocampo - if you go to the members list, you can click on "view all posts" and see my ALL posts in order of the date posted! Come on, and see if you can work it out! ' ' Everyone else: there's still 24 hours or so left. OK ... to raise the anti.....there is now a prize: a reproduction Thompson M1A1 Kerr sling (winner to pay postage)! As shown in the Thompson photo above! All the correct answers will be drawn from a hat by someone who is not interested in modelguns! So no favouritism! All entrant's scores will be published along with the correct answers tomorrow. So get cracking! ' ' Kiwigunner

| I really don't know the answers, so I went with Cerwyn since I reckon he'd have the best chance of winning. All I want is the money LOL! | |

| THE RESULTSWell Folks - thanks for all the entries and correspondence!
It wasn't an easy test - so many replicas exists out there - and very hard sometimes to tell the differences! THERE WERE 5 ENTRANTS
Most of the entries identified all their I.D.'s correctly - but many left the ones they couldn't identify as empty spaces!
Only TWO people attempted ALL the answers.Only ONE person identified them all correctly.
The correct answers TO ALL 21 GUNS are:So the winner wins this sling: M1A1 Thompson Kerr sling and the Winner is: DRUM ROLL DRUM ROLL DRUM ROLL DRUM ROLL DRUM ROLL DRUM ROLL CONGRATULATIONS CERWYN!!!
AND WELL DONE TO SMOOTIK WHO SCORED 18 OUT OF 21 ! And Claymore a close 3rd!
I hope the exercise provided some fun for those who entered - and amusement for those who watched! Kiwigunner[center]
