WTB KSC P230 SL

Ok, I know I am desperate when I am offering $200 for a P230.
I've been searching for about a year to no avail.....
I am praying that someone somewhere is willing to sell theirs...
I'll pay as high as $300 if I must for a pristine condition KSC P230 SL...
Oh... And PayPal probably.
Oh, and the box, magazine, manual, and the gun would be nice
I've searched everywhere... No one has a KSC P230 SL FOR SALE........
I'll even settle for a P232SL
(however that rounded grip... I'm not sure how that would work for me....)

My biggest hope is the KSC P230 SL Model T.
I just don't want to give up hope to own a Sig Sauer.
even if it is a KSC...

I love guns, but I hate what people use them for....
That's why I like airsoft, its rather difficult to inflict traumatic damage with an Airsoft.
But I've been into, but unable to purchase/collect, model guns ever since I was a kid.

Modelguns, i.e. cap-firing, shell ejecting models, are available in Hawaii but I'm not certain how Laws there apply to buying and owning them. Are there age restrictions for example With some luck you'll now be able to find, and buy your Sig. I'm certain there'll be plenty of help for you here should you need anything at all

Here's my problem..
I've been to just about every single site in which I could possibly buy one, because I have seen both the P230SL and Model T for sale or auction, however they are all JAPANESE sites, and DOMESTIC shipping only....

Why is that?

Because laws differ from country to country, and not every country allows models/replicas. It's not countries in any case, but people handling packages in Post or courier company, as well as in Customs.

This is a problem for the seller - he ships out a model/replica, it gets confiscated at the border of buyer's country. Then the buyer complains it is lost, cancels payment and causes loss of money and model to the seller. That's why few shops (except for specialized ones) do export of models.

As you can see this is less about being paranoid, more about minimizing risk for parties involved.

I see! Well, wouldn't that be the buyer's fault for not looking into their import/shipping prohibits?

In an ideal world - yes.
In reality - buyers don't bother to check law/import requirements, and more often than not blame the seller. Not only when confiscation happens, but also when duties/tax have to be paid...

SO For now, I'll await John's finds.
I want to take each route individually so I won't end up wasting someone's time...
I'd rather deal with one person at a time, than have 3 people saying they have one for me at the same time.
