Hello all friends,
Well, today another review of a little model gun, the KSC Sig Sauer P230, ABS Heavy Weight version, Japanese version. Yes, another version exists (not HW) without safety lever and without lanyard ring. I always prefer to buy HW version so my choice is this Japan version.
1 / Let's go .
The box is quite little and it used for the airsoft too.
We have all needed in the box and all is well made as usual for a Japanese model gun :
- The model gun in ABS HW
- 6 KSC cartridges
- A loading tool, the same than the M93R from KSC, a little plastic tube.
- A key to disassemble the firing pin
- A very good user's manual
- A KSC catalogue of airsoft and model gun models
- A paper which is maybe the warranty.
2 / Close up .
This model gun is a Japanese model gun so it's well finished. Nothing move when you shack the gun. The gun is quite little and quite similar to the Walther PPK on several points.
When we look closer, we see we have some metal parts like the hammer, the trigger, de-cocking lever, the internals parts, etc... The barrel
seems (
)to be metal but not,it's plastic plated with chrome.
On the gun we find a lot of markings but as usual, the markings on ABS are always less showy than on the metal .
Even on the grip.
Little thing that I like, it's the silver at the beginning of the barrel on the eject chamber here :
You see also the little red line which means that a cart is ready to fire
The sights are "classic" :
At last look at the weight of this little thing :
Without carts of course
(Against 300 for the no HW version of the P230)
3 / Use.
It's a semi automatic pistol without slide stop lever. It's the same system than the Walther PPK :
When the mag is empty, the slide stops and you must remove the mag, put others carts in (or not) and pull again the slide to chamber.
The mag are small and I think you can put 7 +1 carts.
The cartridges are similar to the carts for the M93R by KSC but not the same, this ones are smaller.
The de cocking lever works like all the Sig, pull hammer and push slowly the decok lerver and the hammer will go down.
The default position for the safety lever is when you have the red dot :
When you push down, you can't pull trigger.
You can pull hammer or rack slide, the safety goes off :
4 / Disassemble .
To disassemble the gun, push down the lever here (You can see the KSC logo
)
Pull the slide backwards , upwards and forwards : Like PPK.
After fire, you can unscrew firing pin and wash it easily.Yes, when you unscrew, the firing pin falls
5 / Summary.
Well, that's a very beautiful model gun
Well made and with a good size for my little hands lol.
The sound of fire is not very loud
but the cart is ejected very far
.
Really happy of this model gun and more original than a PPK.
Thanks Mister KSC!
