The Video does not really convey how much louder this is compared to standard single cap MGC P220 cartridges, but take it from me, this is noticeably louder
The only downside, unfortunately, is that the Detonator Pin gets so dirty after one magazine load it'll start jamming when a second mag is inserted. Cleaning is relatively easy thankfully so it's not a huge problem.

Whether or not Cap Smoke, the sound of a full metal MP40 chattering through it's ammunition at that wonderful slow rate is intoxicating to the point of taking me beyond blindness and stupidity, the fact remains both I, and the guy firing in the video above failed to notice the '40 running away with itself and continuing to fire a few rounds after releasing the trigger

This will obviously need checking out but a check of both sear and bolt showed both to be in good shape. Next thing is to check the recoil spring. Following that, a test fire using MGC P220 cartridges, this model's intended cartridge, should prove interesting

I'll let you know how things go......

Thats the trouble with most video cameras they just dont pick the sound up of the rounds very well at all, my webley pistol sounds like a 22 long rifle round but on vid its sounds like a pop gun. the tanio rounds are good no doubt about it but the 45 rounds wont cycle the slide back on the mgc 45 unfortunatly and of course these rounds are damned expensive to buy but when they work so well its hard to complain about cost lets just hope they have a decent life span.
The run away you had on the gun maybe just the det pin as you well know it does not take much difference in size of the pin to go from good firing to bad firing to full auto.

These TK 9mm carts have been fired through my Stirling, MGC MP40 several times and my Marushin UZI once so far. All of these models have steel bolts and can give brass cartridge Rims a hard time. So far anyway, the TK rims are looking good. There IS evidence of ejectors striking them but that's about all at least up to now. It's looking promising for a long life. Of course, now I've said that I can expect nothing but problems, it'll be Sod's Law at its' worst

Unlike the .45s, I've yet to see 0-rings blowing upwards over the top of the piston. Perhaps the 2nd cap sitting on top of the piston is giving a slightly better seal

Thanks for the tip regarding Detonator Pin length Clay' I'll check that. The uncontrollable burst firing seems to happen during the first half of the loaded mag'. Once mag' quantity is down to approx. half bursts are much more controllable. I'll keep you posted

Have you tried your .45s with MGC Pistons Maybe that'll improve blowback and cycle the slide of your MGC .45
