| At first glance they look like normal Marushin made cartridges but at the bottom of the page they mention Capacity : 8mm bbs I can't see how an 8mm bb would fit into the neck of the cartridge and there doesn't seem to be any way of blowing it out either. _________________ Cerwyn

| I noticed they have "SI 5.56 .223" on the bottom, something the pfc M16 carts from Marushin do not have. Anyway older carts that came with the factory assembled M16 models in the 1980s had "MKK" on the bottom ...
Cerwyn, I have read that too. But I am not aware of any .223 8 mm bb model Marushin is currently offering ...

| Hi 'Mike Thanks for your info 'Mike. These cartridges get more interesting don't they? Seems to me it'll be worth contacting the supplier to get more information about these. _________________ Cerwyn

| I received the following reply from Modify-Tech Products :
"Thank you for your enquiry about our products. The material of CART-01 and CART-02 are brass. They are work as direct replacement for Marushin products. We also offer OEM. Attached is our catalogue. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me...."
CART-01 is their direct replacement for Marushin's PFC M16/XM177 cartridge CART-02 is their replacement for 8mm BB Airsoft Marushin revolvers.
I'll e-mail them again to ask about availability etc. _________________ Cerwyn

Are they the old "intruder" ones maybe..... Strongly believes so Johnny...but basically all cap firing modelguns are banned in Taiwan apart from some registered "grandfathered" ones so I don't know why Modify bothered to continue with this... Sorry Claymore...only the Mulberry / genuine Marushin ones available here in HK...let's see if Cerwyn can get a good deal out of Modify

| Following Modify-Tech's request I sent them a drawing of Marushin's M16/XM177 cartridge. Here's their reply:
"We have discussed about the drawing of cartridge. We found that the drawing is almost similar to our CART-01. So we think that CART-01 could function in the Marushin M16/XM177. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me ..." _________________ Cerwyn

I know clay' I was a little puzzled by their request for a drawing in the first place. All I can think of is that clarity of information has got lost in translation from Taiwanese to English.Modify-Tech advertise them clearly as replacements for Marushins' carts.I wonder if it's worth asking them for a sample:?: _________________ Cerwyn

| Maybe they were aware of old/new type so they want to play safe and double-checked it that's all Or maybe Hanna's only an office clerk not really knowing the technical aspects...she simply passed it onto the technical team and act as a translator only... | |

| I can confirm now that Modify-Tech's PFC cartridge for Marushin M16 / XM177 series models works perfectly (Thanks to Claymore for test firing the sample I have)As Marushin's own cartridges are becoming hard to find these will make a good alternative.Full cart. details in our Cartridge Library _________________ Cerwyn

| How much are they? Can't find a price anywhere.
Wish someone would make MGC 556. I prefer those over Marushin carts. A lot of the Marushin carts I owned had a habit of splitting around the threads due to them being so thin. Never had that problem with MGC carts.
