I too, have one of the MGC Ingrams (ABS) it was an early,non-select fire "open cartridge" with the "Cobray" markings (stylised snake on the side) at first i had nothing but problems with my example as it would not fire more than 2-4 rounds with out jaming so, i decided that it was the older open cartridge fault so, i changed the detonator over to the newer CPHW cartridges.
Later,i discovered that i was trying to use the wrong length of the open cartridges! The Ingram is supposed to take the 380 super 9x22 cartridges and i was trying to use the 9x24 length cartridges for my S&W M59's in it!
No wonder why it kept jaming! I discovered this only after i had destroyed the original detonator in an attempt to convert it into a late CP detonator and, i ended up receiving a brand-new box of the correct, 9x22 380 super cartridges open cartridges a few weeks afterwards
But, other than the minor problem i had at first, i think that the MGC Ingram is worth having and i would like to get a HW version of it sometime.
