That's an interesting point Mark, I'd always assumed that the cartridge rims were being damaged by the bolt face and extractor hitting them hard. I hadn't really thought of the consequences of the cartridge hitting the ejector hard enough to damage it too.
I've certainly seen how double capping using MG or Marushin caps produces excessive blowback which in turn cycles the bolt too quickly leading to jamming etc.
Interesting things these model guns aren't they ?! Smile
