I've just been charged £25.85 to get a small envelope with 2 small pieces of glass and a screw from Japan to upgrade my SHOEI ZFG42 scope.  That bring the total for these 3 items to £87.69!!! scratch   I'm going to have to pack this collecting lark up as I'd like to be able to eat occasionally. Sad

Dont normally get caught with anything from Japan simply because i have a low cost put on, .but when i do get hit its around that or £30 ish mainly due to the bloody post office admin charges

As Claymore said, most of my stuff from the far east comes through ok. Parcelforce/Royal Mail do seem to add quite high admin charges compared to FedEx, DHL etc.

It's a pain when we get clobbered for import cost (somebody's got to help the government deficit  Rolling Eyes ) but I've saved enough over the years to offset.
