Dusted off a couple of the Marushin “veterans”
MP40 ABS but when nursed it runs
Just love the weight of a full metal model

Good to see vid of these 2 models, i have wanted to do a marushin mp40 vid for a while but i am having a lot of problems with mine and it aint working well which is really unusual for the 40 and very frustrating.

The Marushin MP40 is probably the most reliable firing modelgun I have. My first modelgun too and responsible for the monster this hobby became for me
Thanks again for posting up these videos!

Thanks gents
Glad you like it Fun to do. This time I believe to have figured out a “back drop” that fairly effective catch the ejected cartridges
I think the majority of problem with the MP40 lies in the magazine lips of my second magazine Else I agree lube it and it runs :Smilie 68:

Yeah- ages ago I bought my first - a Marushin m1910, lovely - still have it. Took a while before I bought number 2, MGC P210 - but since then I have been “caught”
I got my MP40 late but as an assembly kit - that for me is the greatest joy of all. All those fiddley springs and tiny pins to to on the floor

Thanks Sommarkatze
Making the video’s is frustrating when challenged by misfires or:D similar But most rewarding when it just burns cartridges
The real drawback is thinking of about 1 hour loading and cleaning to do a 10-20 second footage !! But ok I still remember the thrill of the full auto :Smilie 68:
