Well, Tanaka really are pushing it out with new models, which of course is great news. This time a sig 229 in a new calibre, 357 sig, the news link and you tube vid are below and firing vid is around 36 min in. It looks good though no release date, also they are doing a double cap 9mm evo cart which is great news. looks like as with the eagle you will need a new det pin for it.

Sounds P229 will be next release from Tanaka. It is going to be .357 version with bottle neck cartridges. Tanaka decided to make .357 version, rather 9mm is to attract people's attention. If they make it 9mm version, then, that would be just another version of P228 which sounds bit boring. I find it fair statement.

I am looking forward this model and it will be on my list to buy, i am glad Tanaka decided on this 357 sig round, most sigs look pretty much the same so at least the round makes it more intersting. Well done Tanaka keep these models coming.
