Would a real magazine fit inside of the MGC M4A1 Carbine?

I'm looking to get the old MGC M4A1, and I was wondering if a real magazine would fit in the magwell and possibly even function. If anyone can get back to me, please do.

Hi Tav,

I have several MGC M4A1 modelguns and I can affirm you that a real AR-15 mag won't fit the magwell.
Original MGC mags are slightly smaller and so the magwell is.
