MGC PPK exploded picture says Slide action for the system. It must be correct name.
I think Tanio action is nickname of MGC's slide action. But we Japanese use for all maker's item today.
The system was very popular before developed blowback system.
We called Slide action or Finger action on those days.
They say Tanio action SS-PPK used for James Bond movie title back silhouette of The Spy who Loved Me.
