Hi,

It will depend on what you consider "realistic"

Markings
Weight
Material used
PFC Firing - non firing
Colour

Some of the dummy round gun are very realistic (Hudson M1 Garand, Marushin Luger, Hobbyfix Colt)

Most pistols are made from HW/ABS plastic which might not "feel" right but look fantastic with stamps and markings

The Marushin M16 is a nice model and can be got very cheaply.

Yes ....
"realistic" as in - to appear in a movie
or
"realisitc" as in - you want to take it apart to see how real ones work ...

I hope to God its not "realistic" as in you want to wave it at somebody Most Realistic Modelgun??? Icon_eek

I have an MGC Ingram M11 that I wouldn't want to carry in public - it looks that real. It's also from the era prior to the US' infamous "orange paint" reg. If you can live with an incomplete kit (e.g., no suppressor, cartridges...), you can come in under budget sometimes.

I think the revolvers from Kokusai is also be a realistic one and under your budget even for brand new. Marushin Lugar is definitely a nice one as well (under). Marushin Mauser M712...this one is also fantastic (over).

Most of models from CMC is very realistic, but the problem is, getting difficult to find one in good condition, good ones are usually be "over".
