Post by figaro On my civilian UZI the only thing that is painted is the top cover, the rest is blued, I haven't done anything to this.
The military one's are different, and many have painted upper receivers. So the model in the Japanese picture is actually very accurate.
The Norinco series of civvie UZI's have different finishes to the IMI and Group Induistries semi's.
I have not seen an UZI with a painted lower receiver or stock, only blued, but there are hundreds of variations, so I'm sure there are some out there.
I bought my first MGC Uzi in the Uk after watching "The Dogs of War" until the Betamax tape wore out, ha.
