Hudson AK47 Project

Just picked up on this thread and I'm IMMENSELY impressed with all the thought and work that has gone into it. To bring this down to a purely fiscal level.. what did it cost to machine the parts and completely overhaul the Hudson to bring it up to such superb scratch?

The first version i did was more expensive on spare parts as i brought the hammer/auto-sear and springs (IIRC about £60-70) but as i reused the bolt carrier and trunnion I had less to machine.

With the second one I didn't need to buy spare parts but because the design is a bit different it took longer to machine the new bits.

I can't remember how long it took me to finish the first one as the original plan changed as it went on the second one took about 30-40 hours of machining/fitting/tweaking/re-machining/finishing off.

Also one other expense is the new mag and aluminium rounds.
