MGC Thompson Detonator Chamber problem

My MGC Thompson's firing pin / chamber has a problem.

The pin's tilted over in the receiver slightly, is tacked or possibly soldered in and is difficult to clean. It needs removing really and rubbing down / polishing with emery or steel wool but how the h*ll do you get it between the chamber and pin???

that pin in the mgc chamber is part of the chamber so you cannot get it out. I put it in the ultra sonic for a while then wash it out then put washing up liquid in it and use Q tips to clean it out and/or anything that wil fit inside it. Wash it out again then i spray WD in it and dry it out with a cloth. Its a pain but seems to work, the pin needs to be straight.
