| I've been offered this Mauser Broom handle replica for NZ$180. Is it an early MGC (it has no markings whasovever)? And could it be a dummy or PFC model? (I'll get some more pics later). Is it worth the price? | |

| Yes, metal it is - and the owner says it's fully working and strips down like the original.
Sounds like the price is reasonable so I just might buy it.
How can I determine if it fired the early cartiridges - and if it did so, could it be made to fire other PFC cartirdges? | |

| Dang! Lots of goodies for sale in NZ, it seems... Yes, that's an older MGC. The little pin through the trigger is a dead giveaway. It should have no commercial markings, only "JAPAN" stamped on mag bottom. [EDIT - thread link removed- I just now noticed that Cerwyn had linked to my thread too] Not sure if it's a paper cap shooter or dummy though. | |
