I have looked around the web and have been unable to find anything like what I have. The  weapon came in a white box with two thin black lines, clearly says  schmeisser mp 40. It has all working parts. I have not dared load any rounds into the magazine to verify if it will cycle.  There is a thin bar of metal inside the barrel. I believe this maybe a Blank firing weapon for a movie set??  I am not sure how to upload the photos I took of the weapon. Any help would be great I could also email you pictures if you could help identify what I have. Thank you for reading my post. I have attempted to upload photos

Welcome to the Forum. What are the markings on the rear of the receiver? If there's a 68 there it's almost certainly an MGC.

is it made of steel, zinc or plastic as that will narrow it down a bit. any marking on it or name like marushin nakata mgc? as for photos you will need to upload to something like photo bucket and then you can copy and paste the address from there to here.

Great pictures.  Either you have giant hands or you have a 1/2 size model gun.  You haven't given any measurements so far. I know that some members here either have them or have handled them so I'll wait for them to chip in.

I don't have one to compare but that sounds like a 1/2 or 2/3 scale model.   Wikipedia says......
MP 40 Specifications
Weight
3.97 kg (8.75 lb

Length
833 mm (32.8 in) stock extended / 630 mm (24.8 in) stock folded

Barrel length
251 mm (9.9 in)

Is it this size by any chance?

This is a marushin mini MP40 and if this is what you have you have a nice looking model there and as you can see it can fire.

Does anybody on this forum own a mini marushin MP 40?
I am looking for pictures on google. Still can't find one like mine with no breech bolt behind the magazine here is a picture of mine. Identify this SCHMEISSER MP40 now with pictures Img_0115
Identify this SCHMEISSER MP40 now with pictures Img_0116[/url
As you can see NO BREECH BOLT.

Also Here is the  styrofoam box it came in with the card board lid. : top view

What is missing from this case where the 2" circle is? The styrofoam cut out is 2" in circumference and 2"deep. Any ideas guys ?

Here is a magazine pictures all 6 sides.

The magazine is only 1/4 " wide internally so the shell is quite small whatever goes into it there is a working spring inside also. So does anybody think they might know what this is ? If you want me to take more pictures of a specific part let me know and I will get it done. Thanks for your help guys.

The sling?  Ok that maybe it.

Still where can I purchase a brand new version of what I have ?  Who makes it ? Why doesn't it have a breech pin to clean it up? Why is there a metal bar in the barrel ? What is its purpose?

The bar in the barrel is to prevent any projectile from being fired.  Bergflak has some full size take down knobs (not bolt pin) but they would have to be fettled to fit probably.  As stated Marushin made them but it's doubtful that you'd find parts now.

Lampwick yes that is mine firing. This certainly looks like a mini marushin mp40 and to find one in a box in such good condition is a rare find.
Ingram m11 cp rounds will fit the mag and will fire but you need to open up the hole in the bullet head to fit over the det pin.
You will struggle to find any parts for this model these days.

Not as much as you would think, i bought 2 for £50, one was complete but not is as good condition as yours and needed work to fire, the other had no mag and no stock so its for spares if the other ever needs any.
Like all modelguns its worth what someone will pay, i dont think there was much interest in this mini 40 and as mags and parts are not available (i have never seen any mags or parts for sale ever) it makes it a novelty. So very very hard to put a price on it as again i have never seen one come up for sale to have a comparison, mine were sold as broken and for spares hence the cost.
