Has anyone had any experience with this website. A lot seems to be lost in the page translation. Are these model guns or actual “deactivated” assault weapons.

For model guns their expensive.

For deactivated collector’s guns they’re cheap.

As I looked closer they do seem to be real guns which have had their barrels filled, bolts welded in place and some appear to have had the trigger system cut or welded.

Some of the prices were ridiculous. $12,000 for a non working G36. A semi auto version is only $5000-$5500.

But others such as their Uzis, Grease Guns, MG42s, AKs, and Thompsons were VERY cheap. They also had some extremely rare items such as a Browning 1919 and cold war sub machine guns.

I doubt these guns could legally be converted and registered as legal Class 3 weapons. But these items would fetch a fortune at a gun show. The receivers alone worth a lot for legal and illegal gun rebuild kits. (Illegal if the receiver is not already registered as Class 3.)

The former Eastern Block countries have been importing their arms for years as “deactivated” guns for “collector’s purposes.” They simply cut the receiver in half. (easy to replace) It is not even considered a firearm or gun kit, just pieces of metal.

Some African and Arab countries have tried it too with Uzis and other guns but Big Brother put an end to it ASAP.

Just a few of several thousand listings.

gunbroker.com is an auction site (like ebay). What you see are not prices, but highest bids at the moment.
For example those "Romanian AK-47" parts are 225USD at the moment - not final price, maybe someone will bid higher.

True but I haven't seen bids get too high on AK parts kits. There are also non auction websites which sell for about that price range.

I desperatly need an AK and MAC-10 .45 kit.

When possible people have been using universal airsoft parts such as stocks, lasers, scopes, mag pouches, and other add ons due to the dramatic price difference.

The reason you will not see Deactivated machine guns in the US is, in most cases because of the receiver. The BATF views them as live machine guns. Have you heard of the Junkers AK bb gun? Well the BATF classified them as machine guns because of their receivers. The above listed gunbroker Romy "G" kits are for building a legal semi auto on an aftermarket AK clone receiver. You can buy a dummy AK reciever, and make a non functioning Romy "G" out of the lot!! Side note: all legal US deactivated MG's had to be registered as such, before such and such date.
