After getting quiet for some time Marushin reintroduced its "Hybrid" modelguns - at the time writing 2 models have been released - "Hyper Derringer" and "Hyper M1911A1":
As the pic already revealed: from the 2 barrels the top one's for cap firing and the bottom one's for BB firing - the result of further legal consultations as it's clear now that Marushin (and other toygun makers) CANNOT use gunpowder as the power source...although not as good as expected but fair enough...
Then this M1911A1...since it's single-barrelled so Marushin decided to sacrifice the BB firing action (i.e. load the caps to the shells and charge the mag with 134a gas) - for me, if the caps alone can already cycle the action then why added the weak-enough 134a for it which at the same time reduce the magazine capacity...? If the law prevents them from carry on with their original plan then Marushin should drop this whole plan altogether as this M1911A1 demonstrated it's only "semi-hybrid"...not an attractive piece for both airsoft and modelgun fans...
It's better for them to focus back on their "countless variants" of PPK...
