| Welcome back to the forum Modelguns-Worldwide have indeed been out of action for over 2 years now.As far as the VCRA law's concerned, if you sell your M4 you must ensure that the buyer is legally entitled to buy it. If you were to sell it to a non-VCRA exempt buyer you'd be in a world of trouble and could spend up to 5 years in a British prison. You MUST obtain the following documenbts from a prospective buyer:
- Re-enactment Group Membership Card and Membership Number
- Contact details for Group's Membership Secretary
- You MUST verify the buyer's membership is current and obtain a copy of the Group's Public Liability Insurance Certificate
OR
- Airsoft skirmish site Membership Certificate & number
- Contact details for the SITE, NOT the Airsoft Group's Membership Sec.
- You MUST verify the buyer is a current and active Skirmisher at the Site
- Obtain a copy of the Site's Public Liability Insurance Certificate
Other VCRA exempt buyers can be FILM/TV production companies, Museums or registered companies trading in Firearms or Replicas. In these cases you'll need Letter Headings, Company registration numbers etc.By now, any genuine VCRA exempt buyer will know the score and will have all required documents to hand for you. Just remember it's you the seller that MUST otain and verify membership documents so be sure to check everything to avoid possible prosecution. _________________ Cerwyn
