Since the UK vcra I have not ordered full weapons from overseas .

I am not sure about UK legality on this - does anyone in UK know ?

Has anyone ordered metal RIFs from outside UK ?

Anyone tried actual 12ga casings (spent or dummy, of course) in the APS 870, or compared the size? I haven't yet, and mine's still packed up in storage post-move. Those shells are crazily expensive if you just want the shell ejecting look for a prop.

I have never had any problems with buying Airguns (C02 steel bb pistols primarily) from within the EU. I recently purchased a KWC blowback Luger from Versandaus Schneider in Germany with no problems and I have bought at least two pistols from them in the past year. Paradoxically, you can't do this within the UK of course with air weapons as they have to be collected in person or sent to a local Firearms Dealer for collection.

Of course, the sheer ludicrous nature of uk gun laws dictate that you can buy a CO2 powered steel bb gun with no real problems providing you are over 18 and this is covered by the Firearms Act 1968 (as amended) and therefore technically not a RIF (though it is) as it shoots over 1.36 joule. Under that figure (or non firing) and the VCRA comes into play. Main rule of thumb, never import blank firers or anything cartridge related and I would never import anything from outside the EU (Germany and France are the only places I've purchased from)

very interesting - never thought to import airguns from EU .
What about deacs ?
There are long running threads about this on other forums since in EU these cost pennies compared with what we pay and the spec is very similar .
Zib have good selection of rare stuff not available here .
Also found a UK dealer who will import the APS sniper for me - result ! Anyone else want one before I order ? You can go on their website to get an idea on prices . Add @ 20% for import taxes plus handling fees etc . Dealer is in Dorset .

I don't really have any idea about Deacs as they are not my thing. I'd feel a little uneasy about importing one unless it was 100% assured it had been deactivated to similar uk new spec regs.
