Mil-Spec Buffer Tube for MGC M4

Purchased a beautiful HK416/417 butt stock (made by UMAREX) for my MGC AR15. Unfortunately the butt stock is only suitable for Mil-Spec-version buffer tubes and it was too small to slip it on the original MGC (outer) buffer tube. Enlarging/widening the bore of the butt stock so it will fit, wasn’t a good idea in my opinion. So I decided to go the hard way and machined my own Mil-Spec-tube.
Made some pics of the building process. Maybe it will help all those who wanna do the same.

Very nice! I would like to see how it looks installed on your MGC M4A1. Great to see what you can do if you have the skills and the tools, as well as some patience.

I know that the receiver extension ("buffer tube") design MGC uses is different from the real one, so you can't install a real one.

As a side note: the mil spec buffer extensions Colt uses still have the straight back and 4 holes for stock ajustment. But 6 holes allow a better stock ajustment.
