| I recently acquired this early PPK model, It seems pretty rare as I have never seen one before. It has no makers mark, only the early stamped crown to signify its a replica. when you pull the trigger the whole slide moves back and then fires It is also a little bit smaller than a real PPk (last pic) Any idea of the maker? | |

| The trigger / slide action is an early example of T.Koba design when he worked for MGCknown as " Slide Action" or the more quirky sounding "Quack Action"That crown mark has appeared on the Forum's pages before, but my searches for it so far haven't tracked it down!A more ornate Crown can be seen on a very early MGC MP40 but I'm certain it's to be seen on other early makers' models too.Hopefully more info will come in from other members _________________ Cerwyn

| Thanks guys It does look like a Malugo and the slide does measure 125.3 mm The markings are slightly different, mine says (ThUr) on the slide (extra u) so this is probably earlier or possibly later than the gold one pictured?

| There is a typo in the drawing: "Thr". Slide itself is marked correctly, see photo above. | |

Slide itself is marked correctly, see photo above. Ah, yes you are correct. It seems to have a serial number. Do you think these are unique to each gun or do they mean something, I.E year of manufacture? | |

| The crown logo also appears on the French M1935A repro. | |
